Woodbridge School District Principal's Message
Dear BRS Community, Winter weather is certainly upon us! I hope that you and your family are taking time to enjoy some fun winter activities. Whether you are an avid skier, someone who loves to ice skate, one who enjoys a warm coffee next to a cozy fire or a person who loves to listen to the giggles and screams of children sledding down a hill; I hope that you have found some moments of joy during these last few days.
Our winter assessments are complete and our students are continuing their learning. From multi digit multiplication in grade 4, to launching a study of China in grade 6. From learning new snap words in Kindergarten to working with character traits in third grade - even in this unusual year where pivoting seems to be the norm; our students continue to learn and grow in tremendous ways! From the Nurse BRS families- We have made it halfway through the school year! Thank you so much for your continued efforts in helping us to safely remain in person. We continue to work closely with QVHD and CT Department of Public Health in following best practices as we continue to navigate this challenging year. To remain vigilant I would like to remind all our families to please
To contact the nurses call 203-389-7614, fax 203-389-8164, or email nurses@woodbridgeps.org Thank you, Aisling Fagan RN, Nursing Supervisor From the Cafe There is NO CHARGE for School Meals for school district residents 18 and under through the end of the 2020-2021 school year. This program is available to all children because of federal funding from the USDA. There are no income guidelines or paperwork. Meals are offered at no charge whether children are dining in school or picking meals up to eat at home. By taking a meal families ARE NOT taking meals away from someone who needs it more and ARE NOT costing their district money. Eating a school meal helps the whole community
