Kindergarten parents: Please remember to change your child's spare clothes at school based on the season!
Library News and Requests
- Looking to get rid of used books? We have a free library outside the library and we welcome donations for all ages!
- Do you have extra or mismatched envelopes, holiday cards, or used holiday cards? We will be using them for projects in Makerspace!
- We have created an activity area for students in the library and welcome donations of games, handicrafts, craft supplies, and children's activities and toys.
Family Display in the Works:
For Valentine's Day, we will be making a display of families in the library! We would love to have every student submit a family photo or holiday card with a family picture for a collage being created! We are learning that families all look different, but they are all filled with LOVE!
Author Virtual Visit:
Our author talk with Aisha Saeed, author of Amal Unbound and the new release Omar Rising will be held February 7th for students in grades 3-6. To get a signed book, submit your completed order form to the library. You can also order online at RJ Julia by requesting pickup and denoting BEECHER ROAD SCHOOL in the notes.
Take your child to the library day is Saturday, February 5th! We are encouraging all our families to plan a visit to the Woodbridge Town Library!
News from the Recreation Department:
The Town's ice skating rink is located at the Center Road tennis courts, 149 Center Rd, managed by the Recreation Department, and is open for the season, weather permitting. The rink is available for use daily, 8am to sunset.
Woodbridge Town Library: Lantern Walk and Craft:
The Woodbridge Community Council is hosting an evening walk at the Fitzgerald Track on Saturday February 5th at 5:30 pm! Stop by the children's desk between 1/31-2/4 to grab a take-home lantern craft kit! You can find more information here.
Coding Excitement:
In third grade our students learn a coding program called Scratch during technology classes. Some of our students decide to take their learning further! Check out the images of some coding a student did recently!
