Dear BRS Community,
Members of our student population took the initiative to, once again, encourage the entire school to clean our school grounds in celebration of Earth Day. Many students used a portion of their outdoor time to help clean our beautiful campus. Our students also continue to participate in our Green Team initiative of food waste recycling in the cafeteria. When they are done eating, students sort their remaining foods. We are so proud of our students for engaging in this activity to help the Earth every single day! Thanks to the Green Team for launching and supporting this initiative!
Summer Enrichment Program (SEP)

6th grade parents/guardians
Parents of current 6th graders! Please save the date: D.A.R.E. graduation will be on May 19th from 11:00-12:00 in the South Gym! 6th grade Promotion Ceremony will occur on June 14th in the afternoon.
PTO Upcoming event
The Scholastic Book Fair will be from April 24-April 28! We hope you can join us for Family Night! New this year, the Book Fair will be open during Extended Day as well! Don't forget, you can set up E-Wallet to make shopping even easier!
Library Books
It's time to start looking for school Library books that need to be returned. Books for class projects and iPads will all be returned in June. Please have your student look around your home for any overdue books. Green Team Tip
Come to the Free Cycle Clothing event on Saturday April 22rd at BRS South Assembly from 8:30 am - 1:30 pm. New this year is the Mending Station. Bring your 5 minute fixes to the station and get more miles out of your favorite shirt with a missing button, a jacket that has a hole in the left pocket, or a scout badge that needs to be sewed on. If it can be fixed in under 5 minutes, come see us!
