Safe Return to 2021-22
The Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) and the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) have asked elementary school districts to participate in a weekly COVID-19 screening testing program. This voluntary screening testing program is for parents/guardians who wish their children to receive such screening testing; designed to reduce the risk of school-based COVID-19 transmission, it is another tool in our toolbox of mitigation strategies. The Woodbridge School District has consulted with and has the support of our District Medical Advisor and our local health partner, Quinnipiack Valley Health District (QVHD), in offering this voluntary screening testing program. Please click here for Superintendent Budd's September 24 letter to parent(s)/guardians. Please click here for the two-page Consent Form if you wish your child to participate in this voluntary screening testing program.
Based on the requirements of the Connecticut State Department of Education, the Woodbridge School District Reopening Committee developed in June 2021 a "Safe Return to In-Person Instruction & Continuity of Services Plan" per CSDE guidelines. The Woodbridge School District Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan for 2021-21 is available by clicking here.
