CECA 2008 Award Winning Presentation

This project has been the true collaboration of a digital native and a digital immigrant.  Nancy is a veteran teacher who strives to push her students to consistently achieve higher goals.  Nancy is secretly a technology enthusiast, who continually attempts to incorporate technology more in her classroom.  James is a relatively new special education teacher who tries to find new and inventive ways to use technology to help his students interact, learn, and share their knowledge in the classrooms.  James’ technology knowledge combined with Nancy’s knowledge of the curriculum provided the basis for this project.  The digital storytelling project allowed for both teachers to combine their individual talents, allow the teachers and students to learn from one another.
